My name is obvious and I own a 1997 Gst. I've owned it since 2001, added a 100,000 miles to it, and it's had all kinds of different mods to it over the years. Best Et is 12.22 and best mph is 131. I'll post some pics here in the next few days.

Sounds like fun. 131 in a fwd is good. Now to get some traction and really see what she can do! Post a mods list if you would like to.

Hey I'm Kurt! I was one of the guys who put the note on your car! Lol. Glad to see you joined the site. Welcome to ESD! Guys I can vouch, this is one clean ass GS-T. Gorgeous car. Tim, make a project log if you have progress pics from your build. We'd love to see the work that went into such a fine machine! If you need anything my number is 570-560-7835. I live up near Warrensville Road in Montoursville.

Couple of pics from today. My alternator was relocated to the rear, but I am moving it back to the front. I have had two Jay racing relocation kits break in the last six years. $250 down the tube. I'm also replacing the ball joints. The ones on it were done under warranty 100,000 miles ago.

Looks great, man. Never heard of Tanabe Racing before. I like having parts that aren't common and/or well known. Makes you different.

Do you have any parts for sale?

I don't have much of anything anymore. I gave away some, I sold some, and I scrapped a lot of stuff. I decided I would buy only new stuff for my car and I quit working on other people's dsms forever.

Lol. I hear ya on that. I always keep parts laying around because I always end up needing something. Or find a friend that has use for it. But anyway, clean DSM, man!

Cars has been in the garage for a couple weeks. I thought my rear tires were rubbing my fender lips on bumps so I was going to make a small camber adjustment to fix it. Turns out on compression that my tires were actually rubbing the eibach camber kits. So now I went to the junk yard and picked up 3G upper control arms. After I finish putting new bushings in and doing the homemade camber kit I should be noise free in the rear. Oh yeah I had a blown strut too, so it will be getting replacements as well. I would like to do Koni's with ground control coilovers but that isn't in the budget till next spring.

Last time I was out a few Wednesdays ago I got into a little race with an impreza on the highway. He had a run on me but only reached my door before I started pulling away. Car isn't really set on kill right now as it only hits a outs 19lbs of boost. Once the rear is back together and lined up I will put the old tune back in it. Gonna go down to Beaver in early October. Will see if I can get gear based boost on street tires in the 12's. 14's at 120mph plus is always amusing tho.

Glad to hear your are still turning wrenches on her! The ground control kit is nice but like you said, a little pricey.

I haven't been down in Williamsport in months. I kind of miss it. Kurt moved too. He's in Wilkes Barre. I want to go to Beaver Springs sometime. The closest drag strip to me now is only an 1/8th mile track. Which sucks!
