Re: What kind of suspension.
Megan racing springs IMO are the best springs. I think they are 1.5"-2" drop.
The Eibach Sportline Pro springs are great for 1G's as well. About the same drop as the Megan Racing springs.

Re: What kind of suspension.
I'm running an unlabeled yellow set of struts, hopefully koni sports. lol and ksport lowering springs, i believe it is a 2.5 inch drop, and I'm pretty satisfied.

Re: What kind of suspension.
Haha. Ya i have seen my fair share of cut springs, ebay coilovers, heated springs, and they all rode like crap and ended up breaking down. I think the best way to do it is a good lowering spring shock combo or a full coilover set up.

Re: What kind of suspension.
I still have my completely stock set up and Garbage KYB G2's id never recommend them even for stock replacements. Save money get the KYB AGX's or K-Sports i have seen some on a 1G and they look sick!

Re: What kind of suspension.
I went from KYB agx with Eibach sport springs to Koni Blues with progress sport springs. 2inch drop on the springs. Rides great. I miss my KYB agx's

Re: What kind of suspension.
I just found out a couple of weeks ago that the Koni Yellows were discontinued some time back. There was a stage where I was off of the forums and was concentrating more on my bike and when I came back it was like a slap in the face. I had planned on running the Koni/Ground Control setup but now it's scarce unless you can find someone on a forum getting rid of their setup. AGXs tend to not do too well beyond 1.5" drop. I've been running Sportlines/AGX for a couple of years and sadly I've been driving on two busted front struts. I've been contemplating switching to a set of H&Rs, AGX/Ground Control setup, or a full coilover setup. I've heard too much crap about Megans and Ksports, so I was considering a set of BC coilovers.

Re: What kind of suspension.
D2 coil overs is the way to go. I bought some locally last year for like $150. Didn't use them, because I wanted to make some profit. Sold the set for $550. They are new at over $900.
I have stock struts with cheap lowering springs. My RR strut is blown and has crazy camber issues. So, just bought a pair of rear OEM springs and struts. I am going to keep the lowering springs up front.
My front sits noticeably higher than the rear so I am hoping it looks pretty good. Like a drag stance- ass end up, front sitting low. And it will definitely fix my camber issue. Lowering the car on any spring or coil over messes with your camber, but when you throw CHEAP lowering springs on stock struts, the struts are going to blow out and your going to have camber issues.
I just bought a set of rear 18" tires two months ago. The inside of the RR tire is already bald.

Re: What kind of suspension.
I've got Koni/ ground control with custom spring rates on my racecar. On my street car I am running KSport Kontrol Pros with their standard spring rates.
