Here is my first real project on my 2g. The headliner is starting to pull apart from my sunroof panels so I figured why not just do the whole thing. I haven't pulled the headliner yet but would like some input. Does anyone know the measurements for the fabric I'll need? Length and width for the actual headliner, the sun visors and sun roof panels will be easy to figure out. Also what kind of adhesive spray do you recommend, or is there something better than adhesive spray? I was gonna go with 3m adhesive spray.

Re: 2gb headliner
Your best bet is to use the 3M adhesive spray. That is the only thing I have ever heard anybody using.
The other day, I seen a carbon fiber headliner in a dsm. I'd rock it..

Re: 2gb headliner
That's pretty sick looking. I may give that a shot later on down the road. For now though I'm just gonna use some fabric to re line it. I'm gonna pull it tomorrow and get my measurements, how much overhang should I account for, 2-3 inches more than the headliner?

I would say 3" should be safe.

Sounds good, glad to see I'm on the right track so far. I'll keep a step by step for my project log and anyone else who may need it.

Yah i bet that CF headliner is pretty spendy though. I wish they made more CF stuff for the 1g guys.

Dude, the 1G aftermarket aesthetics scene (in this case, CF) is booming for the 1G's now...

Hmmm i need to look more i guess haha. I know they make the trunks, some interior pieces. I would really like to see a 1gb front lip CF or fiberglass.
