    2G Project Envy

    Post by rocketrapson

My base is pretty solid with the car being a GSX. Weight will be my biggest issue since showy mods normally add weight rather than take away. My parts list that I am currently decided on follows, subject to change as the build goes on.

    Exterior:
    Burnt copper paint
    Kaminari wide body kit
    Carbon Fiber Aristo wing
    Carbon fiber canards
    Custom front and rear diffuser
    VIS G Speed CF hood
    CF roof overlay
    CF Hatch
    Rear wiper delete
    Antenna delete
Custom ram air duct in right fender
    Konig Swurve 17" wheels
Green LED underbody and wheel well lights

    Interior:
CF overlaid dash and interior panels.
    Passenger air bag delete
    Custom center vent gauge cluster
    Reverse glow gauges
    Interior led change to green
    Bride racing seats
    Sparco 3 point harnesses
4 point roll cage body match color.
    Sparco CF steering wheel
    Rhino lined floor

    Audio:
    Pioneer head unit
    Infinity speakers
    2 kicker 12" subs
    2000 watt jl audio amp

    Performance:
    Injen short ram intake
    Greddy type s bov (recirculated)
    Greddy t3 turbo
    Bbk throttle body
    Venom intake manifold
    Forged engine internals
    Hks timing gears
    2.4 stroker kit
    Custom 3" exhaust
3" exhaust cut out to use stock muffler

    Suspension and brakes:
    Tein basic damper
    Upper front strut brace
    Upper rear strut brace
    Brembo brake rotors
    Green painted calipers.

Hey welcome to the board. I know alot of people will say dont put the body kit on, and say it will look like "rice". But its your car and do what you want. Just take your time and do it right the first time.

noticed you were doing a CF hatch, and hood with the overlay on the roof. have you ever thought about doing a carbon fiber panda sort of look? kind of how the talons are painted? with carbon fiber overlay on the pillars as well?

Yeah, that CF steering wheel is a grand by itsself. Lol. Good thing MD only requires one inspection for the life if the car. the performance automatic transmission is gonna cost 3 grand. I need to call the company and find out how much horsepower that transmission can handle.

I am not a fan of the body kits or any non performance appearance modification. That is actually the definition on rice.

BUT, like mentioned above, it is YOUR car. So build it into whatever interests you. That's the whole point of modding any vehicle. Rice or no rice.

Aside from all the exterior stuff, I like most of your plans.

The quick release steering wheel is one I am trying to do in the near future.

I have to admit, the white 2G you posted pics has one of the cleanest body kits I have ever seen.

Paul Volk, is IMO has the best and cleanest looking body kit.

Once I get all the exterior done with my canards and all, I just may change your mind in that one. Lol. I like how the wide body I chose accentuates the natural body lines and gives it a sexy wide stance.

Just do it right. Mold the kit to the car, no sheet metal and screws/rivets.

I have the same hatred for body kits that AJ does lol. But that wide body you are getting is pretty damn close to stock front bumper and the rear isnt all stupid looking either. I more or less just hate the body kits that have the huge gaping holes and the swishes and swirls that EVERY car in fast and furious has lol. I cant stand that stuff. But a very clean and subtle body kit, especially a wide body, is nice if done right.

Actually the more I look at it the more I like that wide body.
