Re: Lambo Door Installation
I was running down the road doing about 50 or so, and i hit a bump in the road and the strut gave out, tire hit the rear quarter panel, locked up the wheel. I fixed it all though. Getting ready to pull the motor using the head for my gfs spyder, and boring the block .20 over and some other odds and ends , im sure ill make a thread about the build eventually to keep everyone updated

Re: Lambo Door Installation
I wanna put Lambo doors on my 1g. But I think it would look stupid with that goofy window trim. I wanna figure something out to just cut that off and attach it to the roof of the car so it still works but I would have doors like a 2g with no upper window trim!

Re: Lambo Door Installation
Alright well the kit came about 2 hours ago, and me and Jonathan got to work:
1st Step: Remove the fenders and inner fenders
2nd Step: Remove the Door Panel So you can remove the Door Guide later down in the steps.
First You Need to have another person, it goes way easier.
The best thing to do is mark a line between the car and rear quarter panel to help you adjust the kit to make it 100% straight.
Then you need to unplug your Door wiring harnest which controls all your electronics
Next you need to take the pin out of the Door guid and remove the door guide, there are nuts, unscrew them, and it will fall threw the inside of, the door, just feel for it and remove it.
Next You want to unbolt the door from the car its self
Once the door is off you can put the hinges on:
Then just bolt the door back to place, and hook up your door wiring harnest and your done ( as long as you dont need to readjust it)
Then its Done, sit back and enjoy:
