Haha! i had the same thing happen to me. i had about a half an hour arguement with a kid. Until i went and showed him in my door jam.

Had this argument too many times. Always seem to shut people up though.

I think its just because its not a domestic they all think its imported "junk" (as everyone who hasnt owned one has said). But they just dont know what they are talking about.

I dont consider it an import.

Oh i dont either. I think if you are a real car guy. No matter what make or model you should appreciate a nicely built car. But you alwas have those few v8 guys that think just cause you dont have the extra 4 cylinders that its a ricer. I have had a few buddies that have shut some v8 guys up. and after they shut them up their was about a page long list of reasons why they lost.

Theres always some fabricated excuse for "why a 4cylinder just smoked ur v8" lol. Some people just cant respect it. I love making people eat their words.

Haha. Yep same here. Its funny to see their face when they ask what size motor you have and you tell them 2.0 and their jaws drop. Than comes the excuses.

Some people just need to keep their mouths shut. All of us here know quite a bit about our cars. Other people that aren't familiar with DSM's and think they know everything there is to know and have seen it all, just run their mouth.

These are the people I like to make their lips stop moving when they are proved wrong.

Yep thats for sure. Its funny when someone talks crap about a car they know nothing about. and when it comes down to it most people that do talk crap, usually dont even change their own oil.

Hey! Lol I usually dont change my own oil! Lol but at least I know how to. I would just rather pay the same amount and have someone else do it. Sometimes Im lazy like that. Its easier that way because I dont have the luxury of a garage or anything like that where its not a pain in the ass to do a simple oil change. I do all my work in my driveway or in the yard. So for $20 to do it myself or $20 for a shop to do it, why not be lazy?

Because I don't let ANYONE touch my car without me being present and giving orders and carefully watching over them.

Half the time, a shop will put the wrong oil in your car, wrong filter, filter won't be tight, not enough oil, too much oil, forget to put the drain plug in, etc.

Most employees that do the oil changes are stupid kids who drive their mothers minivan or riced out Honda's.

AJ is right. even when they do my exhaust here in town iam in the shop while they do it. i never let my car outta my sight if someone else is touching or working on it.

ah, got into it with a few more idiots today. lmao

Lol all I have to do is point to the chrysler logo on my "side skirt" on my fender. That usually shuts them right up haha. If not I say lets run and I walk them like there wifes toy poodle
