Hey guys and gals. I have been seeing more and more people removing their coolant lines from their 14B or other stock turbos. Anybody personally done it? Why? Pros/cons?

That's great, Don. I was actually thinking a little about this today while pulling my motor. Might be worth a shot to try this while its all out. Keep us posted though.

I was running my 14b without coolant lines. personally I didn't realize a difference in oil temps or anything. don't really have much to worry about aj running without coolant lines because all the coolant does is help cool the oil but im not to sure it really does a good job haha as long as you keep oil in your car you should be fine. I mean its not a journal or bb turbo but im sure it doesn't hurt it running with or without coolant lines (:

My old 16g setup had a dry bearing housing(no coolant lines) and it ran fine. And is still running fine on a friends car to this day.
