how to wire your fogs to your parking lights

Post by whitedsm on Sun Jun 03, 2012 9:35 pm

ok first thing is first this is an easy thing to do and it takes about 5-10min and i will post pictures as soon as i can get some of my car. ok first off the things your going to need to do this is a inline fuse holder, some cutting plyers, crimping/splicing plyers, and a flat blue male connector, your going to reuse the 15amp fuse for the fog lights. ok to start off go to the fuse box underneath the hood, your going to locate your fog light fuse which is a 15amp and the tail light relay. now your going to pull both out and with a test light check which side of the fuse has power. then your going 2 take the relay and find the #4 prom the relays r different from 95-96 and the 97-99 i will find a picture of the 95-96 relay(the 95-96 uses the same prom so when you pull your relay out its gonna have 3 straight across and 2 going down use the middle 1 like i circled in the picture below) and i will take a picture of the 97-99. once you find the #4 prom on the relay your going to take one end of the inline fuse hold and put the wire in the slot then put the relay back. then next the other end of the inline fuse your gonna take the flat blue male connector and crimp it on the wire and put it on the power side of the fog light fuse. the put the 15amp fuse in the inline fuse holder then go inside the car and turn on your parking lights and if you did everything right your fog lights should be on with your parking lights.

when your all done it should look like this
